Though I enjoy being a workaholic at my law firm, staying till 8pm sometimes to finish some paper work or listen to my lawyer relate to us intriguing law stories, I ACTUALLY ENJOYED SKIVING MY INTERNSHIP TODAY!
Went early in the morning to SGH to get some pre-admission check ups done! They took a blood sample (which i winced and was so tense, the nurse laughed at me so much) and some other tests to find out if i were fit enough for the operation in a week! it makes me so queasy thinking bout what the nurse said bout how they'll give me general anastesia and how it'll burn.. The needles gradually inserted into my veins. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'M BLOODY TERRIFIED NOW!!

But beyond that, met up with my sis after, we hung out at vivo with her shawty boyfriend! haha, since he's in the police force serving NS, me and sis got him some toy handcuffs from Toys R Us! HAHA KINKY!
Watched LEGION. It's real hilarious and yet at the same time freaky! Zombie-like creatures crawling across the ceiling, grandma who's on an atttacking spree and tiny child with a mature, old man's voice haha cracked me up!

I was supposed to get a 50 bucks haircut at orchard with my sis, and her friends! and like in the end ALL OF THEM DESERTED ME. so, I ended going home alone with nothing done to my hair. haha and strangely, I was approached by like 3 freaking freelance modelling agent-like people poaching people at orchard MRT. Like wth right? Alright? I hope they don't call back, period.

HAHA! well hello lj! let me start afresh! Since my heartwarming,indescribable visit to India followed by a rocking time with my cousins in KL, I think I've finally activated this indian side of me! haha,I met up with my friend ret the other day and she was like WHAT IS WRONG WITH YA?? SO INDIANISED!!! (who btw is another indian herself) I like it! i think? Anyway, had lots of fun at the shooting for scape cinematic commercial! Wasn't my first time shooting so I knew what to expect and enjoyed every aspect of it. EXCEPT THE MAKE UP. I'm totally impressed with Azri! he's a fabulous freestyler! and then there's the rest of us who are a cool bunch. Most of us are first timers except lyon? he's flying off to hollywood to pursue his career in broadway! Wish him luck! Anyway, with a fresh year ahead, especially one that we'd be spending at least 2/3 without a school life, it is kinda scary! starting adulthood. So, my goals are 1. Be more streetsmart! haha dad said I should take ducktours around Singapore so I'll have a better sense of direction! oh and like try out all sorts of food types! be aware i guess! 2. SNACK LESS! oh god help me with this! hahahaha 3. SAVE UP! ok ok mummy's nagging since i'm sick and not getting enough rest! ttyl

It's one of a kind really! like pumping club music + hot physical trainer + some cool karate chops = one HIYA! splendid body workout!

With the stress, asthma attacks and light headedness i've totally screwed my Prelims top.bottom and all around!

OMG! should tell ya'll bout what happened yesterday! ok well being the lost sheep that I am I blindly came to school in the morning thinking that the chem MCQ was at 8! I cabbed down spent a good 14 bucks JUST to find out the paper's at 2pm! Not enough, asthma got the better of me!! Could hardly breathe by 8.30 so I rushed to the office to get a slip out of school.
Guess what? I met mr Aziz who was all like" Hi darshita! How's you're studying coming along?"
Bloody hell, the next second, I burst into bloody tears spluttering, "I can't breathe, I can't breathe" My gosh I tell you, I was like this huge uncontrollable baby!
so yeah well, mr aziz was I think freaked out by me hahaha.
Panting, I climbed up to the 3rd floor to see Rita wong. She was superb! gave me $50 bucks to see a doc across the road. So yeah did that, got a nebulizer jab and it felt so good! I could bloody breathe again!
And to top it off, the clinic ripped me of $50 bucks! and I just gave it to her. totally impulsive.
But, I'm really thankful that Rita wong had persuaded me to do that one hour mcq paper! I mean although it was one horrible paper, even at  bare minimum, it's not ZERO!

So now, I'm just trying to recover from my asthma, the headaches by watching some scandalous gossip girl!

Watched it on thurs with yuxuan! booked tickets and rushed to E hub to watch it! Must say though it was depressing that the ending was kind of mundane, it was one hilarious bloody long movie!

Emma watson is my reinstated role model once again!
The fact that she can get As for her A levels while juggling her acting career, man SHE HAS BRAINS, WADS OF CASH & BEAUTY!

So, I'm going to push away all pessimistic thoughts especially my HUGE tendency to swear f*** at everything and emulate her! Her self control.

I'm going to strive for that A in GP. It'll be a struggle to get past that last hurdle.

Last night was ONE of my coolest,most independent nights in my life!
I know I shouldn't be proud of it, but I felt I was standing up for my own rights!
I've been studying with edison the past few weeks and we usually go home together bout midnight!

Just this week my dad came up this whole curfew thing that I've to be home at 9pm! gosh!? like what work can I do especially when I get to starbucks airport bout 2pm? haha

So after abiding by his silly rule on mon and tues, I was like NO MORE! yesterday.
So I got home bout 10.30pm. (hey it was kinda reasonable)
THEY LOCKED ME OUT ON PURPOSE! HAHAHAHA

But I mean it was cool and all, I just hung out, buying a huge bag of doritos and a can of coke.
I went up to the 9th floor. (it's this space cum staircase place which I always sit at whenever I'm locked out,chased out whatever)
snacked on junk food and most of all studied an extra chapter of econs!

so yeah by midnight my dad came bout searching for me haha. I told him frankly, I can't take this 9pm curfew and like by locking me out for these extra 2 hours, I finished another chap! So productive!
Next thing, the door slammed at my face hahaha
oh well... I really thought I was gonna spend the night out.
By bout 2, I just fell asleep at that 9th floor area. like OMG!? The place ain't all that clean you know!
supposedly by bout 3am, my dad went searching for me and he laughed his head of watching me sleep there, a coke in one hand and my notes on my forehead! haha, yeah well after that he asked me to go home!

Thing is, quarrels like this with my parents usually fizzle out and we just end up laughing at how stupid we were! In this case, I guess I was. For being all stubborn!

And yeah I didn't wanna crash at my aunt's, or my awesome neighbourssss'. It's my battle with my dad.

Here are 3 updates on my life!

Background: On friday, it was supposedly the sportsXcel retreat at Singapore Swimming Club. But since shermy and yuxuan couldn't make it,we cancelled and rescheduled. Instead the 6 of us with mrloh went for lunch at ehub! weiyang's superbly brilliant idea!

1. mrloh's car broke down just 500m away from ehub! HAHAHA! So we ended up getting down and pushing the car like a good 100m or more till we could park it! omg what a cool experience! In the middle of the road with smoke coming out of his engine!

2. Parent's have gone to India for like their 1243254th HONEYMOON! won't be back till a week and we've gone wild! Nobody's planning to get home early since there really isn't any point! I hope I can go clubbing with sis this weekend! But I guess I'll pass..?

3. Been studying very little,just started on econs, BOP and it's really bloody shit. Time to start intensive!! So I'm gonna study with my best study dudes whenever I can!

Firstly I wanna say how envious I am of yuxuan that she got to go clubbing like today! And she's freaking underage, while here I am all LEGAL totally wasting my time not even trying it out!
Anyway, I spent the day with edison at SMU. As usual and as always we gossiped tons,ok wait, more of him gossiping, talked till like forever!And since I was vegetarian, I could only snack on like SNACKS, from chips to like my 6th subway cookie this week!

CAN marathon was spectacular.
This has been the FREAKING 2nd RECORD we've broken in half a YEAR!
and this time, everyone felt that they belonged here together, striving to achieve something together. It's the true TJ spirit which was introduced during SLC and after this event bet everyone feeling some part of it!
SportsXcel's rocketing through the roof!

Had tons of fun running with jo for like the competitive part. 30mins of unstoppable running! Jo and I were laughing our heads off! Cause G and wei yang were cheering for us ( competitively) like for their own girlfirends or sth! IT WAS REALLY FUNNY. we laughed so much that by the 4th round, I started cramping up. So we had to slow down lots till lotsa peple caught up. By like the time I was back to normal and ready to run, it was jo's turn! She started cramping!gosh it was so funny! so we just jogged really slow till the last round we sprinted our necks off!

And since we didn't stretch,we were totally cramping from top to bottom. Gosh it was so painful! and yes, lactic acid burns.
hung out with vyl and yuxuan doing duty!

We played street netball against basketballers!and YES! I managed to challenge excessively tall chee siang's balls! YAY!
ok shit that sounds wrong!
but yay! had tons of fun and totally didn't sleep the whole night!
we managed to like complete 599 400m rounds round the track in 12 hours! making it into the S'pore book of records!
I gotta give it up to debbie and E.Q and the whole track team!

and yeah omg went home, slept like a baby!
Can't wait for sportsxcel retreat! yayeah!

I'm really devastated by the fact that now, Basketball, Netball, Badminton and Volleyball have not made it top 4. It's such a huge bummer. Like what?!

Ahmad drank a cup of juice and left it on the table that we were doing work at under LT2. Since we left the table to go talk to other friends, ( our bags were still there) OM came by, took photos of the cup and my  FREAKING STRIKING ORANGE BAG! like who else in this school has that bag?? so yeah, if I get called sooner or later, I'm doomed once again.


Oh and then there's this wierd yet pitiful austistic kid that I met on the train after my haircut yesterday. She looked at me from head to toe, and then she tried to look up my skirt! but seriously, all I could do was laugh while she tried to look up! Guess she was really intrigued to see like a tall person and since my skirt was shorter in comparison to my legs, she probably wanted to know if they were real hahaha!

And yeah, it was amazing being able to play basketball earlier at SBC after the basketball girls played their semi match today!
Like omg, I could put my hand up right in front of the person, snatch the ball away, shoot and run EVERYWHERE!! like wow! FREEDOM OF SPACE!
hahaha, Sweat like a stinky pig and was drenched from head to toe, but who cares, I've had my workout for the week!

It's really funny to see how we netballers are all trying to diet and like eat bare minimum just to saty on the thin side! haha. We are all victims to obesity! YEARRGH!

Also, tmr I'm FINALLY starting tuition for chemistry!
Since like both yuxuan's and my season's ended!

With netball season at an end, I suddenly feel a whole lot of things slowly fading away. First, Sportsxcel then netball and like everything that made college worth something!
This season is something I'm really proud of! Actually, it'd be the proudest season I've had in my 6 years of netball. Like despite the heartwrenching fact that we didn't make it top 4 (which I'm slowly learning to let go and move on), this season proved to be something out of the ordinary. Every year coach V would be furious with us, shouting her lungs out and most of all, every year, coach never ended the season with a proper conclusion.

This year things were ultimately unique! There were matches that she had very few criticisms to give us.There was just acceptance and subtle compliments that it was a match played well. Not only that, after our last match against AJ, coach called us aside, had a 5 min debriefing. Telling J2s it's time to buck up and study hard, and that we could've made it top 4. we were worthy of it. I know she had tons tons tons of hope on this team.

I'm glad that if there's one thing we've managed to inculcate in this team is that fighter attitude. We always say we are fighters, but this year on court, WE ARE REALLY FIGHTERS! The anger, the ferocious and agressive attitude to get back on court and eat up every ball that comes our way. I could just see that focus and hunger to play better and fight harder. That's why I'm so proud of my team! That we'd give our best as much as we can, even when we're down.

Desire, Determination,Enthusiasm-- 3 Words which sum up a netballer's attitude on court.
Like they say in every victory there's always a loss.
Top 4 meant so much to me, this year, I yearned for it. But I'll get over it soon.

Oh well apart from netball,
I've just been trying to do lil bits of work, finishing up half done essays which were long overdue.
I'm finally starting chem tuition this thurs!
and most of all, I'm getting a haircut!!!! I want an awesome stylish haircut, that's still worth tying!

They gave me and grace a surprise bday celebration yesterday at like suntec fountain of youth place!
Vyl, like omg lah! kept making me walk in circles and wait at random places for people! I was getting really confused when I was greeted by a cake!

They had this whole array of food spread out! total picnic!
And I must say the food was REALLY REALLY good!
it was simple food. But damn, i think it was such a great choice of right food! from sushi that wasn't too bad to like tortillas, hotdogs,honeybaked chicken, strawberries,grapes.. mmmm YUMMY!!
We ate like pigs! hehe
and since the cake was this damn delicious oreo cheesecake, We used the base ( oreo) to spread on our teeth to look like hill bilies! OMG DAMN FUN!
